CommonWealth Games: Indian star boxer, Telangana girl Nikhat Zareen has taken a step forward in the prestigious Commonwealth Games towards fulfilling the expectations and belief on her. The women’s 50 kg category made a good start in the boxing competition and reached the next round. Nikhat knocked out Helena Ismail Bagao of Mozambique in the pre-quarters match on Sunday. So it went to the quarters stage. At the beginning of the match, Helena completely dominated. Counterattacked and rained punches on the opponent. Stifled by Nikhat’s power punches, Helen collapsed unable to continue the game. With this, Nikhat was declared the winner by the match referee who stopped the contest with 48 seconds remaining.
