A high voltage match between India and Pakistan is going on today as part of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup. In this match, Pakistan, who batted first, lost 4 wickets and scored 149 runs in the allotted 20 overs. Pakistan captain Bisma Maroof (68 not out) stood as the top scorer.. Ayesha Naseem (43 not out) performed moderately. In the beginning of the match, the bowlers of Team India exploded. After taking wickets at consecutive intervals, Pakistan fell into trouble losing four wickets for 68 runs at one stage. But after that the bowlers loosened their grip. Taking advantage of this, Pakistan captain Bisma formed a key partnership with another batter, Ayesha. Garbage balls were moved to the boundaries while taking singles and doubles. Both of them added 81 runs in 47 balls for the impenetrable fifth wicket. Radha Yadav, Deepti Sharma and Pooja Vastrakar took 2 wickets among the bowlers of Team India. It is noteworthy that this is the highest score for Pakistan against India in the T20 World Cup.
The Indian team got off to a good start after losing the toss and bowling first. Deepti Sharma sent Javeria Khan (8) to the pavilion in the second over. Radhayadav dismissed second opener Muniba Ali (12) in the second ball of the seventh over. In the third ball of the next over, Pooja Vastrakar was bowled by Nida Dar (0). Radha Yadav immediately overturned Amreen (11). So far the score is 68 runs. Looking at the strength of the Indian bowlers, it seemed difficult for Pakistan’s score to cross 100. But captain Bisma and Ayesha Naseem improved the situation. In addition to this, the fielding of the Indian girls was poor. With this, Pakistan scored 149 runs in the allotted 20 overs.
