He is none other than Sunrisers Eastern Cape captain Aiden Markrum. He has Sunrisers Hyderabad fans in full swing with a ton of a century.

The South African T20 League SA20 tournament has reached its final stage. The second semi-final match was played between Sunrisers Eastern Cape and Joburg Super Kings on 7th February. In this, Sunrisers captain Aiden Markrum exploded with an explosive century. Batting first, the Sunrisers team lost two wickets for just 10 runs in this match at Centurion. Captain Markrum himself took the responsibility of saving the team in such situations.

Markrum, who played cautiously in the beginning, then changed gears and was on fire with the bat. Joburg wreaks havoc on the bowlers. Romario Shepard scored 21 runs with 2 sixes and 1 four in the 18th over and finally got out. Markrum scored his first T20 century and third century in this tournament with a six. He completed his century in just 57 balls with 6 fours and 6 sixes. But the next ball was going to hit a boundary.. Pavilion joined. But with his innings, Sunrisers managed to score a huge score of 213 runs.

Meanwhile, Joburg Kings faltered in scoring. While the main batsmen were out for short runs, Hendricks (96) along with Shepard (38) made the scoreboard run. But that was not enough. In the allotted 20 overs, Kings lost 6 wickets and managed to score only 199 runs. Sunrisers won this match by 14 runs and reached the finals.
