As part of the Gavaskar Trophy, the Telugu boy Srikar got a place in the Bharat team in the first test which started today (February 09). His mother became emotional knowing that Bharat was playing a match in this order. She touched and kissed her son affectionately on the ground.
Not to mention the craze for cricket in our country. Whether Team India wins or loses, the popularity of this gentleman’s game will not diminish. Many people dream of playing in such a game and getting a place in Team India. But very few people get that chance. If there is talent and all the conditions are right, there is no greater happiness than when the opportunity knocks on the door of Team India. The cricketer along with his family members will float away. Recently, Nagpur Test became the stage for such a wonderful event. Telugu boy Srikar got a place in the Bharat team in the first Test which started today (February 09) as part of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. His mother became emotional knowing that Bharat was playing a match in this order. She touched and kissed her son affectionately on the ground. Currently, the photo related to this has become viral on social media. Netizens are showering comments saying ‘pick of the day’. But despite his talent, Bharat has been waiting for a place in the team for several years. Despite being selected for the Test team, Saha and Pant could not get a chance to get on the field due to their roots in the team. However, due to an accident at the end of last year, KS Bharat was selected in Team India in his place.
Salvation for waiting for three years..
As for Bharat.. his hometown is Ramachandrapuram of East Godavari district. He was born on October 3, 1993 to Srinivasa Rao and Devi. His father was employed in the Navy in Visakhapatnam, so his entire education was done there. And Bharat stepped into first-class cricket in 2012. Bharat played a total of 78 matches and scored 4,283 runs with 9 centuries and 23 fifties. He then scored 308 runs in a Ranji match against Goa in 2015. Thus he created history as the first wicket keeper to score a triple century in Ranji. With this talent, Bharat became a regular member of the Indian ‘A’ team. In 2015, he represented Delhi Daredevils in IPL. But he did not get a chance to play the match. In the IPL-2021 season mini-auction, Royal Challengers Bangalore bought Bharat by spending 20 lakhs. He scored a total of 191 runs in this season. All cricket fans will remember his last ball six in the match against Delhi Capitals to win his team. BCCI selected India for the Test series against New Zealand two years ago. But as Pant was already in the team, he could not get a place in the final team. KS Bharat played 78 first-class matches till November 2021 and scored 4283 runs. He also played 51 matches in List-A cricket and scored 1351 runs. He played 48 matches in T20 format and scored 730 runs. He scored 9 centuries and 23 half-centuries in first-class cricket, 3 centuries and 5 half-centuries in List-A cricket, and three half-centuries in T20 cricket. Now he has fulfilled his dream by securing a place in Team India.
