Indian girls have created history. They created a miracle by winning the Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup organized by the ICC for the first time. In the one-sided final match on Sunday evening, Team India defeated England, which is considered to be the cradle of cricket, by 7 wickets. They won the toss and chose to field first and bowled out the opposition for just 68 runs. After that she hit the target while playing and singing. India won the World Cup trophy after receiving the target of losing three wickets in 14 overs. Telugu girl Trisha Gongi excelled in batting. She scored 24 runs with the help of three fours and became the top scorer. In this match held at Potchefstroom, Indian captain Shafali won the toss and decided to bowl first. Titas Sadhu took a wicket in the fourth ball of the first over, proving that this decision was correct. Then in the fourth over, spinner Archana Devi got the second wicket. The streak of wickets that started from here continued till the last ball of the 10th over. With this, England lost 5 wickets for just 39 runs at the end of 10 overs. But not only India’s bowling, fielding also became the reason for the victory. First G Trisha and then Archana took two brilliant catches, while Soumya Tiwari ran out with a brilliant direct throw. In total, the English team was bowled out for just 68 runs in 17.1 overs due to the Indian bowlers.

Among the bowlers of Team India, Sadhu, Archana Devi and Chopra took 2 wickets each. Kashyap, Shefali and Sonam Yadav took a wicket each. After that, India went into bat and achieved the target by losing three wickets in just 14 overs. Soumya (24), Trisha (24), Verma (15) and Shweta (5) excelled, so Team India’s victory was easy.
