All five teams of BCCI Women’s Premier League announced today. In the team auction held on Wednesday, the BCCI sold five teams for Rs. 4670 crores sold. The most expensive team in Women’s Premier League is worth Rs.1289 crores while the cheapest team is worth Rs. 757 crores. Today’s Women’s Premier League auction broke the IPL 2008 record. On the other hand, the Pakistan Super League i.e. the PSL Women’s Premier League could not stand anywhere.

Pakistan Super League lags ahead of Women’s Premier League in terms of money. In 2015, Pakistan Cricket Board sold its five teams for 93 million dollars. After that, in 2019, the sixth team of this league was sold for 6.35 million dollars. PSL’s total cost of 6 teams is not even 100 million dollars. Even if all the teams in this league are calculated at today’s dollar rate, it is worth noting that not one team in the Women’s Premier League is equal.
