Team India: ICC announces awards for last year’s performance. Indian athletes dominated these awards.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has selected Indian fast bowler Renuka Singh as the Emerging Women Cricketer of the Year this year. The year 2022 is very special for Renuka. There she showcased her bowling skills. Renuka’s career was only 15 months. In such a short span of time, she turned the key batters into scapegoats with her bowling. This special award was given with this distinction.
Renuka faced stiff competition from other talented sportspersons for this award. Along with her, three other women players were selected for this award. Renuka beat Australian bowler Darcy Brown, England batsman Alice Capsey and compatriot Yastika Bhatia to win the award. Along with this, Renuka also got a place in the ICC Women’s T20 Team of the Year.
Renuka will dominate in 2022.
