The International Cricket Council (ICC) is organizing the Women’s Under-19 World Cup for the first time. The seventh match between England and Zimbabwe was held on Sunday in this prestigious tournament which is being held in South Africa. In this, the girls of England impressed with all-round firmness. Especially the bowlers were impressed with the record performance. As a result, the team won by 176 runs against Zimbabwe. Batting first in this match, England made a huge score of 199 runs for the loss of four wickets. In response to this, the Zimbabwean team failed to score a half century and collapsed for just 23 runs. The team was bowled out in just 12 overs. Many felt that despite England’s strong score, a weak Zimbabwe would struggle. It is expected that they will score at least 100 or more. But expectations were reversed. Four batsmen in the team could not even open an original account. No one managed to get a double digit score. But she failed in this for the team. There was a situation where none of the team’s batsmen could reach double-digit scores. Adel Jimunu scored maximum 5 runs on behalf of the team which can be understood how badly the team played. She was followed by Tawanaisha Marumani who scored four runs while captain Kelis Ndholve scored only three runs.

On behalf of England, Grace Scrivens took four wickets with two runs in four overs. He also bowled two maiden overs. Sophia Smalley and Josie Groves took two wickets each. England, who batted earlier, played strongly from the beginning. Captain Grace and Liberty Heap added 60 runs for the first wicket and gave the team a good start. After scoring 25 runs, Grace scored 45 runs as Heap was out. After that Nima Holland scored 59 runs in 37 balls with the help of six fours and one six. Charis Pavelli scored 45 off 26 balls. Her innings included six fours and one six.
