Siddharth, who was with the Gujarat team for the Ranji Trophy, fell ill suddenly. He was admitted to a private hospital in Vadodara. Doctors treated him on ventilator for two weeks. But unfortunately his body did not respond to the treatment and he passed away at a young age. The Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh along with the Cricket Association expressed deep condolences to the young cricketer. But the cause of Siddharth’s death is not yet known. Meanwhile, Siddharth’s last words are making everyone’s eyes wet. His friend Prashanth said, ‘Siddharth could not even speak when he was in the ICU. That’s why I got a paper from the nurse and said, “I want to play cricket.” Please don’t stop me’ she wrote. In that case, Prashanth was also there.

Siddharth’s father worked in the army. At first he did not allow his son to play cricket. But Prashanth said that Siddharth chose cricket as his career. Siddharth Sharma was born in Una, Gujarat. As a fast bowler, he made his debut for Himachal Pradesh in the Deshwali Trophy in the 2017-18 season. He excelled by taking 25 wickets in that season. Siddharth was also in the Ranji Trophy champion Himachal Pradesh team in the 2021-22 season. He also took 12 wickets in the current Ranji Trophy. Finally in the match against Bengal he took a total of 7 wickets in two innings. But Siddharth left this world 20 days after this match. Meanwhile, Siddharth’s parents and other family members are staying abroad. His last rites were performed after the brothers came to India from Canada.
