Pakistan Cricketer Shan Masood Injured

As part of the T20 World Cup being held in Australia, the Super-12 matches will begin on Saturday, October 22. As part of the Super-12, India will face its arch-rival Pakistan in the first match on Sunday. Both teams are practicing hard for this match. On Friday, while the Pakistan team was practicing the net, the team got a shock. Pakistan opener Shan Masood suffered a serious head injury during practice. Shaan Masood was taken to the hospital for scanning. Although the team doctors said that there is no major risk, it will be known whether Shaun Masood will be available for Sunday’s match or not based on the report given by the medical experts based on the scanning report. Pakistan can breathe a sigh of relief as star pacer Shaheen Afridi joins the squad with fitness ahead of the T20 World Cup match against India. However, the team suffered a shock when opener Shaun Masood got injured during the practice session on Friday.

Shaan Masood was rushed to the hospital. While the Pakistan team was practicing, all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz hit the net with a shot and the ball hit Shaun Masood on the head. The team doctors immediately provided medical aid to him. Then moved for scanning. In the video, he was seen catching the ball’s head with his hand as he walked out of the ground.

The 33-year-old Shaun Masood has played twelve T20I matches for Pakistan so far, scoring 220 runs at a strike rate of 125.00 and scoring two fifties. Pakistan vice captain Shadab Khan said after the incident that he was hit in a sensitive area and he did not know his current health status, but he passed the team physio’s tests. We are praying for the speedy recovery of Shaan Masood.
