Cricket world is getting ready for another mega tournament in T20 format. The T20 World Cup will start from October 16 (Sunday) at the venue of Australia. As the mega tournament is being held after two years of corona situation, there has been a huge demand for tickets this time. A large number of spectators are interested in watching the matches at the stadium. Organizers revealed that more than 6 lakh tickets have already been sold. The first round matches will start from 16th of this month. Eight teams will compete in the first round to secure the four vacant spots in the Super12. The Super 12 competition will start from 22nd of this month. Major teams compete in Super 12. Only the teams in the Super 12 have a chance to win the World Cup. Seven Australian cities are the venues for the T20 World Cup.
The first match of the Super-12 will be played between defending champions Australia and New Zealand. There is no possibility that this match, which will be held at the Sydney ground in the midst of a crowded audience, will be reminiscent of last year’s final.
