Now let’s know about this state and the shops here..
In Mizoram state in the northern part of India there are vegetable and fruit stalls on the highway. There is no shopkeeper in these shops. Here on a pole hangs a small board with only the price written on it. There is a box to put money. Sailing The scene was seen in a small town about 200 km from Aizawl, the capital of Mizoram. These stores are often the talk of the town on social media. You will be surprised to know that till now there is no theft in these shops.
In Mizoram this culture is called ‘Nghah-lau-davar’. These shops were opened during Corona period. Apart from vegetables, fruits and fish, many other things are sold in these shops built beside the highway. If anyone had to buy goods, they would put the money in a bag kept in the shop and take the goods from there. The reason behind running these shops is that if the shopkeepers start sitting at the shops then there will be no time for farming.
