SBI: State Bank of India- SBI has good news for its customers. It also took a key decision to promote mobile banking. It has announced that the SMS charges charged on money transfer through mobile banking will be waived. Henceforth mobile banking services can be used for free. SBI tweeted that USSD services can be used without any additional charges. The tweet said that you can get banking services completely free by dialing *99#. SMS charges on mobile fund transfers have been waived.. users can transact conveniently without any additional charges,” it tweeted. USSD stands for Unstructured Supplementary Service Data. Money transfer from mobile, checking balance in bank account, generating bank statement and other services can be availed through this USD. This service works on feature phones.

Users can avail banking services without smart phone or internet connection. SBI allows customers to access fund transfer or account statement as well as other services without a smartphone or internet connection by using mobile banking through *99# code. With the new decision of SBI, the customers will get some relief.
