Woman Teacher Dead: A tragic incident took place in Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra. A 26-year-old teacher lost her life after getting stuck in a school lift. The incident took place in Malad, a suburb of North Mumbai. Officials said the incident took place at St. Mary’s English High School in Chincholi Bandar on Friday. The deceased has been identified as Janel Fernandez. Teacher Janel Fernandez was waiting on the sixth floor to go to the staff room on the second floor at around 1 pm after the class was over. But as soon as the teacher stepped into the lift, the doors came closer. Later the lift moved to the seventh floor. As a result, the lift door closed with the body outside and the leg inside. Trapped between the lift and the wall, she was seriously injured. As she screamed for help, the staff and teachers ran. They tried hard to save her. After that, she was seriously injured and taken out immediately to a private hospital. The doctors revealed that the teacher had already died.

On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and investigated. Deputy Commissioner of Police Vishal Thakur said that a case has been registered as an accidental incident and investigation is underway. It has been revealed that if there is any doubt about her death, they will investigate in that aspect as well.
