It will enter Malappuram on September 28 via Palakkad on September 26 and 27. After a week-long yatra, they will take a one-day break on the 23rd. While the Bharat Jodo Yatra is going on in Kerala, the ruling CPM party has criticized the Yatra. Senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh responded to this. They said that their trip was not to Europe but to India. The CPI(M) criticized the BJP for working as an ‘A’ team. He reminded that CPM had formed alliance with BJP in 1989 to defeat Congress. He said that the Bharat Jodo Yatra was not for the unity of the opposition but only to strengthen the Congress. Jairam Ramesh stated that there will be no opposition unity without Congress.
