Mumbai: Enforcement Directorate has raided the offices of Raksha Bullion and Classic Marbles on charges of money laundering in the case of fraudulently taking loans from banks. The ED team that went to investigate was blindsided. A total of 431 kg of gold and silver bars were found in the secret lockers. Of this, 91.5 kg is gold. 340 kg of silver. The value of these is estimated to be around 48 crores. Officials found that these lockers are being operated without following the rules. The raids were carried out as part of the investigation of a case related to Mumbai-based company Parekh Aluminumex Limited. A case was registered in 2018 that he had taken loans of 2,296 crores from banks and cheated them.
