Bollywood stars Ajay Devgn and Siddharth Malhotra’s film Thank God is in trouble. The trailer of this movie directed by director Indrakumar was released recently. A complaint was filed with allegations of hurting religious sentiments. Lawyer Himanshu Srivastava filed a petition in UP’s Janpur court against the film, claiming that the Kayastha community, which worships Chitragupta as a deity, has hurt their religious sentiments. In the recently released trailer, Chitragupta was insulted and made objectionable comments in the complaint. The court said that the statement of the petitioner will be recorded on November 18.

In the recently released trailer of Thank God, Ajay Devgan is seen in the role of Chitragupta. In it he is seen wearing a blazer, trousers and a shirt. The trailer starts with Siddharth Malhotra getting into an accident. After that, Siddharth meeting Chitragupta’s Ajay.. the scenes between the two.. making jokes in the character of Chitragupta.. Shrivastava accused him of using offensive language. According to Puranas, Chitragupta is the god of justice. He counts one’s sins and merits. He punishes people according to their karmas.. or rewards them. Ajay expressed his anger on making such jokes in the role of Chitragupta. Objectionable scenes were filmed to increase TRP. Srivastava expressed the opinion that this has damaged the communal harmony.
